Listing guidelines

Macapp Supply is a curated directory of beautifully designed macOS apps. Every submission is reviewed by hand — we only list products that are polished, genuinely useful, and a good fit for the collection.

What we look for

  • A native macOS app with an accessible, working public URL.
  • Clear value proposition and a polished, thoughtful user experience.
  • Strong visual presentation — clean branding, a sharp icon, and quality screenshots.
  • Relevance to the Mac ecosystem and the kind of software readers come here for.
  • Accurate, non-misleading name, tagline, category and metadata.

Common reasons for rejection

  • Anything that isn't a macOS app — web-only tools, iOS/iPadOS-only apps, hardware, or unrelated content.
  • Low-effort, incomplete, or broken landing pages.
  • Duplicates, clones, or listings with minimal differentiation.
  • Spammy claims, deceptive copy, or missing essential product details.
  • Poor image quality, missing assets, or unclear product identity.
  • Off-topic or low-signal submissions that don't fit the collection.

Editorial & final

Reviews are editorial and final. We don't publish everything that gets submitted — inclusion is at our discretion, and not every good app is a fit for this shelf. Submissions that aren't accepted are welcome to be resubmitted after meaningful improvements.
