ConvertIt
Type 72f to c or 100 usd to eur from the menu bar. Free.
ConvertIt lives in your menu bar and opens with one hotkey. Type natural conversions like 45 lbs to kg, 3pm pst to tokyo, or 20% tip on 85 split 4 and the answer appears as you type, or pick units from menus in Guided mode.
It covers 20 categories (units, live currency, time zones, percentages, tips, number bases) with a formula shown for each result. The Media tab batch-converts images, video, audio, and spreadsheets and batch-renames files with patterns.
Free, no account, no tracking — conversions run on your Mac.
