GroveNote is a local-first Mac editor for the files your AI tools write. Open a folder, and it renders whatever's already there — no import, no special format, no lock-in.
Who it's for:
-People who want to watch an AI write a document and see it look good right away, instead of reading raw text in a terminal
-Anyone using notes as a AI's working notes who wants a pleasant place to read and edit them
-People who like Notion-style editing — quick formatting shortcuts, links between notes — but don't want to give up owning their files to get it
Why it matters:
-AI tools write files constantly; almost nothing is built to read those files back nicely
-GroveNote isn't a knowledge base or task manager — it just makes the files you already have pleasant to edit, while an AI (or you) keeps writing to them from outside the app
-No sync, no accounts, no tracking, ever.
Built solo, in public beta now on macOS.
