Panels is a beautifully designed comic reader and marketplace for iPhone, iPad, and Mac.

Since launching in 2018, Panels has become one of the most popular comic-reading apps in the Apple ecosystem, with nearly one million downloads, more than 120,000 monthly active readers, and thousands of five-star reviews worldwide.

Panels supports the formats comic readers already own, including CBZ, CBR, PDF, and EPUB. Users can import comics from iCloud Drive, Files, local storage, web servers, OPDS catalogs, and supported cloud services. Libraries can be organized by series, creators, publishers, collections, reading status, and custom metadata.

The reading experience is designed to feel natural across every type of comic. Panels includes support for traditional page-by-page comics, manga with right-to-left reading, double-page spreads, vertical scrolling for webtoons and manhwa, panel-by-panel navigation, image enhancements, custom themes, bookmarks, reading progress synchronization, and offline reading.

Panels also includes the Panels Store, a DRM-free marketplace where readers can discover, purchase, own, and read comics directly within the app. Unlike closed platforms, comics purchased through Panels can be downloaded and kept by the reader. The store gives independent creators and publishers access to an established global audience while allowing them to retain control over their work.

User libraries remain under the user’s control, and core reading features are available for free.
