Rede
Local Mac dictation with Hold Control and on-Mac audio.
Rede is local Mac dictation for macOS 12 Monterey or later. Hold Control, talk, and text lands in the focused app. Audio stays on your Mac.
You get a free local path plus 5,000 managed cleanup words per month. After that, Monthly is $6.99 or Lifetime is $199. Current version is v1.5.8.
Rede is for people who want fast speech-to-text on a Mac without sending every utterance to a cloud-only dictation box. Hold Control is the core gesture: press, speak, release, keep working.
