Lyrimuse
Word-synced lyrics on your desktop, menu bar and notch
Lyrimuse is a free, open source lyrics app for the Mac. It follows the song you're playing and shows the current line, lighting up word by word as it's sung.
You can put the lyrics on the desktop as a floating line, in the menu bar, in a small capsule by the notch, on the Touch Bar, or in a full lyrics window modeled on Apple Music's. Turn on as many of these as you like.
It works with Apple Music and Spotify, plus YouTube Music or Spotify Web in a browser tab, and other players including KKBOX, Amazon Music and Kaset.
Lyrics are found automatically. Lyrimuse searches twelve lyrics sources at once and scores every result, so a live recording doesn't end up with the studio lyrics. If it still picks the wrong one, you can rematch or edit it yourself.
It can also show translations under the original line, romanization for Japanese, Korean and Cantonese, scrobble to Last.fm with listening stats and charts, and set your Discord status to the song you're playing.
