Roadie
Automatic mic and output priorities for your Mac
Roadie is a macOS menu bar utility for people who reconnect headphones, docks and microphones. Rank input and output devices separately; with automatic switching enabled, Roadie selects the highest-priority connected devices. Manual choices stay until devices change, and automatic corrections offer Undo.
macOS 13 or later, on Intel and Apple silicon. Seven-day trial, then $9.99 once for up to three Macs.
Early-access version 0.9.9 is unsigned and not notarized. First launch requires Open Anyway in macOS Privacy & Security. Roadie controls system audio defaults; apps pinned to specific devices can bypass those defaults. Test your actual setup during the trial.
