Per-app volume and audio output from your Mac's menu bar.
Tone gives each sounding Mac app its own volume, mute and audio output controls in the menu bar. Keep a call in headphones while music uses speakers, or lower one app without changing the others. Tone remembers the levels you set.
It uses Core Audio process taps, with no audio driver or system extension to install. macOS requires System Audio Recording permission because Tone taps into app audio to control it; Tone does not record or save audio.
