Mural

Mural transforms your Mac desktop into a living canvas. Set any video or image as your wallpaper, then layer real-time effects, live widgets, animated text, and atmospheric audio - creating something that looks like no one else's.

VIDEO WALLPAPERS
Import any video or image from your Mac. Scrub to a perfect freeze frame, set a loop range, or browse the built-in Themes library - cinematic wallpapers each paired with a matching soundtrack. Every state you apply is saved to History.

COLOR GRADING
Real-time effects powered by Metal. Cinematic presets or full manual control over hue, saturation, brightness, and contrast. Add film grain or CRT scanlines for texture.

LIVE WIDGETS
Place live elements anywhere on your desktop - analog, digital, or flip clocks; weather particle effects (Rain, Snow, Lightning, Fog) with Nature Mode for automatic daily cycles; a unique 3D Companion character generated from your Mac; a system monitor; and custom image, GIF, or video overlays with full transparency support.

MANTRA
Animated text on your desktop, driven by six 3D motion engines. Rotate through curated phrases automatically or write your own.

AMBIENCE & AUDIO
Layer soundscapes or your own music over any wallpaper. Weather effects play environmental audio alongside your tracks through independent channels. A four-track mixer keeps everything balanced.

LOCK SCREEN
Dynamic video lock screen sync is available via the free Mural Engine companion.
